What is the WoW Forever release date in your time zone?
Blizzard's launch article gives one worldwide opening moment rather than a separate midnight release for every country. The date printed in an American headline can therefore differ from the date you put in your own calendar. Start with 23:00 UTC on November 4, then convert it. Do not add your offset to 3:00 p.m. unless you have also accounted for Pacific Standard Time. A date without a time zone is incomplete information for a group that plays across regions.
Use the converter without guessing daylight saving
Choose a city or named time zone, not only an abbreviation. The converter should display the full local date, weekday and time for the official launch instant. Check the calendar day as well as the clock: London is 23:00 on November 4, Berlin and Paris are 00:00 on November 5, and Taipei or Shanghai are 07:00 on November 5. Named-zone conversion handles the offset for that date instead of assuming that every place still follows summer time.
What to prepare before the clock reaches zero
Open Battle.net, choose World of Warcraft and inspect the game-version selector for Forever. Let the selected client complete any update before launching it. Confirm that the WoW account you intend to use has the required subscription or Game Time. If friends will play together, settle the faction and ruleset in advance; an early login does not solve incompatible character choices. Use the official starter guide for installation and account steps rather than an unfamiliar launcher download.
A launch time does not promise an immediate login
A countdown measures time to a published schedule. It cannot know a queue length, a maintenance extension or whether your account has reached character selection. After the scheduled instant passes, the display should say that the announced time has passed and link to official notices. It must not silently switch to an invented green Online badge. If the game is unavailable, compare a dated official notice with your exact client and error before changing local settings.
Make a useful plan for a group in several regions
Send friends the complete instant, including their local date or UTC, and agree whether the meeting is for character creation or for the first shared quest. Leave room for client updates and login delays rather than scheduling a timed dungeon start at the opening second. If a device's selected time zone looks wrong, change the converter's zone and compare its date with the official regional table. Saving an event is a reminder of the schedule, not a reservation of capacity.
Common questions
When does WoW Forever launch?
The announced global instant is November 4, 2026 at 15:00 PST, equivalent to 23:00 UTC.
Why does Europe see November 5?
23:00 UTC is 00:00 CET the following day. The worldwide opening moment is the same.
What is the launch time in Taiwan or Shanghai?
It is 07:00 on November 5, 2026 in UTC+8.
Does every region open at local midnight?
No. Convert the one global instant instead of assuming separate midnight releases.

Do I need an upgrade pack to play at launch?
An active WoW subscription or Game Time provides normal access. Skyborne and other upgrade benefits are separate choices.
